We’ve enhanced the Marketplace Product Guidance tool to help you expand internationally with clearer, data-driven insights.
The following updates will help you identify high-impact products for global expansion, potentially increasing sales in new markets:
- Enhanced explanations detail the reasons for our recommendations, such as growth trends and competitor gaps, to help you understand why a product is suggested for international expansion.
- Updated machine-learning models now analyze your product’s growth rate, search visibility, and customer engagement to deliver more accurate demand predictions. These improved forecasting insights help you prioritize products with the highest sales potential in new markets, reducing risk and boosting your return on investment.
- A clear explanation of qualification criteria, which is that ASINs qualify for expansion if they rank in the top 25% of sales in their category or show more than 20% projected demand versus US sales. These thresholds help you focus resources on products that are most likely to succeed abroad.
To get started, follow these steps:
- Go to Growth, and select Marketplace Product Guidance
- For each listing, you can click Why? to review the rationale before you list the product.
