When you register to sell in our store or changes occur in your account, you must verify your identity. The earlier you complete your verification, the sooner you can start to sell.
Identity verification requires you to submit documents including a government-issued photo ID (such as a passport, national ID, or driver’s license), a bank account or credit card statement, and a business license if applicable.
Follow these tips to help your verification go smoothly:
- Submit clear, legible documents. Avoid blurry, cropped, or partially obscured images. Upload color copies where possible.
- Match your information exactly. The name on your documents must match the name on your selling account. Small differences like a missing middle name or reversed name order can cause delays.
- Use recent documents. Bank or credit card statements should be dated within the last 90 days.
- Check expiration dates. Expired passports or IDs won’t be accepted.

To verify your identity, follow these steps:
- Go to Seller Central.
- Click Settings.
- Select Account info.
- Click Identity Verification on the Seller Account information page.
- Once you submit your documents, we’ll review them and notify you of the outcome through a notification in Seller Central. If additional information is needed, we’ll explain what’s required so you can resubmit it.
