Starting December 2, 2025, to improve Seller Central account security and to maintain our commitment to a trustworthy selling experience, we’re encouraging the use of passkey verification for all accounts. This change is to increase the security of your account and to remain in line with industry standards.
A passkey is a password-free sign-in method that uses your device’s identification features (fingerprint, face scan) or PIN to protect your account with end-to-end encryption.
Passkey verification offers the following benefits:
- Stronger security than two-step verification
- End-to-end inscription, making your account safe from data breaches
- Quick access using your device’s built-in features
- Seamless login across multiple devices
- Compatible with major browsers and Amazon apps
We strongly recommend setting up passkey now for a more secure and seamless sign-in experience.
To set up passkey verification:
- Go to Login settings.
- Select Set up next to passkey.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
For more information, go to About passkey and the passkey verification frequently asked questions.
With Passkey verification coming to Seller Central sign-in, sellers can expect stronger security and a smoother login experience—supporting seamless access for your Amazon Account Management, Amazon SEO Consultant tasks, Amazon Product Listing workflows, Amazon Marketing Services, and overall Amazon Seller Central Services.
