If you sell in our US store and source products from China, you can now get 30 days of free storage with Global Warehousing and Distribution (GWD) for every shipment received at an active GWD distribution center between July 1 and December 31, 2026. That’s in addition to GWD storage rates that are already up to 45% lower than US Amazon Warehousing and Distribution.
Starting July 16, 2026, GWD is expanding with a new facility in Shanghai, one of China’s largest manufacturing and export hubs, and adding support for the Free on Board (FOB) incoterm across all its locations. With GWD, you store inventory in China and we handle replenishment to US Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) fulfillment centers based on demand, so your products stay in stock without the complexity of managing international logistics yourself.
What this means for you:
- Start small, scale when ready: Use GWD’s free storage promotion to see how GWD works for your business. Test with a single shipment, with no long-term commitment and no peak storage fee increases.
- Store at a location closer to your manufacturer: Choose from GWD facilities in Shenzhen or Shanghai (available July 16) to shorten the distance to GWD, so your inventory is received and ready for US FBA replenishment faster.
- Keep control of your export documentation: With the FOB incoterm, you can obtain separate invoices for export declaration and origin port handling charges to support your export tax rebate process.
- Reduce US storage costs: Store bulk inventory with GWD in Shenzhen or Shanghai and move it into US FBA based on demand, so you’re not paying US storage fees on inventory that isn’t ready to sell.

- Select a Ship from address located in China.
- Choose a GWD distribution center.
- Select desired SKUs and quantities to ship to GWD.
- Provide all required information.
